In Memorium.

August 17, 2010

This morning, around 1 am, Mandy Hall left this earth to join the God that she loved. She was my grandmother, and a good woman.

Amanda Hall born May 11,1924, died August 17, 2010

She is survived by her children: Arthur, Noreen, Helen, Yvonne, Charmie, Jacqueline, Sharon, Garland and Steven. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren that number in the hundreds. Proceeding her are her children Charlie and Judy and two husbands, Brack Centers and John Hall.

She used to take her long, white hair out of her bun and let me brush it when I was little. At her funeral, her collection of hats has been divided up and all her daughters are wearing them. She loved children, and most of all, babies. She had a collection of porcelain dolls. She raised her children without a father when Brack died in the coal mines. She showed formidible strength of character and dignity in life and in her passing.

Mandy died peacefully and without pain with all of her surviving children around her.

“I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore.” (Genesis 22:17)
